Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping is a recording of financial transactions which includes sales, purchases, income and payments by an individual or organisation. The two main reasons to keep accounts are to help you manage and grow your business and to comply with tax requirements.

The benefits of accurate bookkeeping are as follows:-

Ÿ  It will enable us to calculate the VAT due at the end of each quarter.

Ÿ  Produce a profit and loss account for each month or quarter which will help you analyse how your company is performing. From this, we would also be able to advise you of how much tax you should put aside to cover your tax liability when it arises.

Ÿ  Compare your forecasts with actual monthly figures to evaluate your business’s financial health.

Ÿ  Analyse your expenses to determine how to operate your business more cost effectively.

Ÿ  Discover which are your most profitable customers and/or products and find ways to increase your profit per customer.

You will find this beneficial, as with all these steps put together, you can ensure a smooth running of any company. A fixed fee will be agreed before any work is undertaken.
